Automation 2008 is organized
by IED Communications Ltd. The Company is
headed by Mr. M.Arokiaswamy.
 Mr
Arokiaswamy with his experience in Advertising
and Marketing started his career in Outdoor
Publicity in Southern India and Mumbai.
He has started the publication of the Journal
Industrial Automation then known as “
Instruments & Electronics Developments”
in June 1985. Industrial Automation is only
Automation and Instrumentation magazine
in the country reaching all process Industries
with application oriented information. IA
has participated in shows worldwide since
1987 and has international recognition too.
With this vast experience
in the field of Instrumentation and Automation
and absence of a visual platform to present
latest technologies, products and solutions,
he started working towards the organization
of the Automation 2002 exhibition. Since
there were no Automation shows in India,
buyers were forced to visit shows abroad.
The Indian Industry was waking to the global
demands. Automation was no longer a thing
of the past or luxury.
The trade show was conceptualized
in the May 2001 and we began working towards
organization of the first Automation and
Instrumentation trade show to be held in
India. Known in the Industry for his sincerity
and integrity the Automation 2002 event
was welcomed by the industry.
A great support came from
the Board of Governors. Our Board of Governors
are instrumental in the successful making
of our Automation exhibitions
